From artist Dennis Liberty: I've stolen a page from Hiroshige who did 101 Views of Mt. Fuji. Just as he lived his life with the magnificance of Mt. Fuji, I live with the mystery of the Sandias each day. They are never the same mountains. Each time I look, I find something new, something wonderful and inexplicable I've not seen before. I finally got the guts to paint the Sandias this past year after looking at them for 38 years. I now have large and small paintings of these mountains, my neighbor, friend, guru.
