| DSG artist Angus Macpherson has been awarded both first and second place in the People's Choice category in the 42nd Annual Invitational Exhibit at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts (Longview, Texas). |
| Albuquerque, DSG artists Nancy Kozikowski, and Arturo Chavez had work acquired through the Acclaimed Artists Series a project of New Mexico Arts, a division of the Office of Cultural Affairs. The Goal of the Acclaimed Artists Series is to collect work by regional artists with established careers. Work is acquired with 1% for public art funds provided for by the New Mexico State law procurement code. New Mexico State University acquired Arturo's painting Vista del Cuervo and Nancy's tapestry RT Red. Nancy's tapestry Z & S was acquired for a project in Hobbs. |
