ARTIST’S STATEMENT

 My love of portraiture began at a very early age, and has continued to be a source of joy and inspiration.  I have always been fascinated by the fact that there are no two children, or two faces on this earth that are exactly alike.  In each portrait, I strive to capture the beautiful and unique expression, the sparkle and liveliness, the essence of each individual child.  I have also found that adults, with each one’s particular character and maturity, are also a great pleasure to paint.
