ARTIST STATEMENT:

My most recent series, "Lightscapes" express my interest in how the "flow" of layered paint striations interspersed with suggested natural or organic shapes creates an array of color variations through which light spaces seem to emanate.  I want to suggest a place the eye wants to see and enjoy...leaving theinterpretation of what is seen to the viewer who is invited to "create" the painting by the very act of seeing.
